The Texas Educational Opportunity Grant (TEOG) was established by the Texas Legislature to help well-prepared high school graduates with financial need attend public institutions of higher education in Texas. The purpose of this grant aid is to provide academic and continuing education students with financial need, who enroll in Texas Public two-year colleges. Funding is limited, so apply early! .
Note: Funding is limited. Each year institutions try to award funds to as many eligible students as possible. However, all eligible students may not receive funding. Kilgore College is required to verify hours and whether a student previously received this grant through The Texas Coordination Board prior to awarding.
$2,886 per term for two terms, total annual amount: $5772
