Kilgore College is deeply saddened to announce the passing of Board of Trustees member Jon Rowe, of Gladewater, who passed away on April 9, surrounded by his cherished family.
Rowe had faithfully served on the KC Board of Trustees since June 2018. During his tenure, he was a dedicated advocate for students and a committed supporter of the college’s mission.
“Jon Rowe was a steady and thoughtful leader who cared deeply about Kilgore College and the success of our students,” said Dr. Brenda Kays, KC President. “His service on the board reflected his passion for education and community. We are incredibly grateful for his contributions and he will be dearly missed.”
Arrangements to celebrate Mr. Rowe’s life are pending and will be shared once available.
