The Kilgore College Dance Department will present its annual Spring Dance Concert, Alchemy, at 7 p.m. Saturday, May 3, in Dodson Auditorium on the Kilgore campus.
The concert will showcase a wide range of dance styles and techniques taught through the KC Dance Department, including ballet, tap, jazz, hip hop and modern dance. The choreography is a collaboration between students and instructors Angela Aulds (ballet and modern) and Shelley Wayne (tap and jazz).
“The concert gives our students a platform to showcase the skills they’ve developed and the dedication they’ve brought to each discipline throughout the year,” said Angela Aulds, KC dance instructor.
Tickets are $15 for the general public and $5 for students with a valid KC ID.
Tickets will be sold at the door only, beginning at 6:15 p.m. the night of the performance. Only cash or checks will be accepted for payment.
