Request For Criminal History Evaluation Letter
In accordance with state law, potential applicants can request the LCDC Board run a “trial” criminal history evaluation before entrance in the Substance Abuse counseling program and Counselor Intern (practicum) status. This evaluation is helpful if potential applicants are concerned, they may be ineligible to apply for Counselor Intern (CI) status. There is a $50 fee for this evaluation, and potential applicants can request this evaluation by clicking here.
Kilgore College will host a Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor Conference on March 28, 2025, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. in the Devall Student Center Ballroom. Participants will receive 6 CEUs for attending.
The conference will explore the critical role of professional development in strengthening the knowledge and skills of Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselors (LCDCs) and other behavioral health professionals.
