SGA is a student-led organization that advocates for the student body, enhances campus life & fosters leadership.
The Student Government Association (SGA) encourages student engagement and provides a platform for their voices to be heard, fostering open communication with college administration. It represents the KC student body, aiming to help others to build up not only the school, but the community as well through its services.
SGA is a member of the Texas Junior College Student Government Association and is open to KC students who meet certain academic standards.
Students will learn to effectively represent their peers, voice concerns and collaborate with administration to create positive change on campus.
Students will develop leadership skills in teamwork, communication, decision-making and advocacy while representing peers and organizing events.
Students will build strong connections, foster teamwork and create a supportive community through shared experiences and collaboration.
Students will engage in meaningful service projects, develop a spirit of giving and make a positive impact on their campus and community.
Students will gain respect, credibility and valuable leadership experience while inspiring others and making a lasting impact on campus.
