About the Dual Credit Program:

We are delighted that you are interested in getting a head start on your college education by participating in the Kilgore College Dual Credit program. Dual Credit students regularly make up 15-20% of Kilgore College students.

What is Dual Credit?

This scholarship provides assistance for graduating high school seniors who plan to continue their educational journey at Kilgore College for Fall 2024. To be eligible, students must have completed at least 15 hours of dual credit in high school with a GPA of at least 2.0. This scholarship is funded by donations raised from the MLK Scholarship Breakfast that takes place each January. The completed application should be emailed to Mrs. Stacie Ervin at servin@kilgore.edu. Dual Credit transition scholarship

This scholarship provides assistance for graduating high school seniors who plan to continue their educational journey at Kilgore College for Fall 2025.

ELIGIBILITY:

To be eligible, students must have completed at least 15 hours of dual credit in high school with a GPA of at least 2.0.

HOW TO APPLY:

The completed application (link below) should be emailed to Stacie Ervin at servin@kilgore.edu.

PRIORITY DEADLINE:

The priority application deadline is July 15, 2025.

FUNDING:

This scholarship is funded by donations raised from the MLK Scholarship Breakfast that takes place each January.
