The Kilgore College Department of Music is proud to announce that two of its students have earned prestigious spots in the all-state band and choir.
Aylin Rivera Vega, a business major and flutist from Kilgore, has been selected for the Texas Community College Band Directors Association (TCCBDA) All-State Band.
Layla Hidalgo, a music major from White Oak, earned a spot in the Texas Two-Year College Choral Directors Association (TTCCDA) All-State Choir.
Both students will showcase their musical talents at the annual Texas Music Educators Association (TMEA) convention.
The KC Band is directed by Derrick Logozzo, while the KC Choir is led by Peter Cunningham.
